5 Bible Verses for Birthday Cards

Hey everyone,

There are so many celebrations in the year, and that means so many CARDS! It’s always a struggle for me to find that appropriate Scripture verse for celebration cards, I’m looking all over the web for verses, and eventually find one that fits the card. So I decided to pick out some of my “favourite” verses to use in birthday cards. Without further ado, here’s the first one:

Psalm 118:24

This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Of course, my all time verse. It is a good verse to choose for a card because it shows that we should rejoice in the Lord everyday, and that He has given that person breath in his lungs to be alive for a new year.

Psalm 139:13-14

For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully [and] wonderfully made: marvellous [are] thy works; and [that] my soul knoweth right well.

We should praise God for His wonderful creation of making us!

Psalm 148:5

Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created.

This verse shows that God commanded us to be born and to praise Him!

Proverbs 9:11

For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased.

Through God, we will live a long life, according to His will.

Isaiah 46:4

And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.

Even when we grow old, the Lord will still take care of us. Isn’t that amazing?

I do hope that you have found a verse that has spoken to you to write in a card, and prayerfully, the person receiving the card will get saved, or encouragement if they are already Believers!
